Enthusiasm

Enthusiasm! That's what we have right now, and a lot. We just spent the last couple of hours planning on our spring with the help of our lovely mentor, Lan Le. It's going to be quite a ride but we're definitely ready for it.

You will be hearing more about our spring soon. In the meanwhile, take a look at the results from our photoshoot last Wednesday. All photos are taken by Katja Virolainen.

Photoshoot at Brinkhall manor

Wednesday we had the photoshoot at Brinkhall manor for our first Fall/Winter collection 2013. Our  model was Annaliina Heiskanen and photographer Katja Virolainen with the assistance of photographer Lauri Majamaa. 

The day started at 9am. First we looked around the manor trying to find the right places to shoot. Fortunately there were many of those. All rooms were different and filled with elegant, old furniture so the settings for our photoshoot were quite perfect. 

We had the manor rented for 8 hours so we had plenty of time to take photos. Even though some of us  (including the photographer) were suffering from flu, we pulled through the day and got home even a bit early with lots of great pictures. So, thanks to our great photographer and model for this day!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

So the first public appearance of JULJA is now behind. There were six different JA-YE Start Up groups and at least 64 groups from JA-YE Company Programme at the Hansa shopping center on Thursday. You can see pictures from our stand below.

As you can see, our lovely model Annaliina Heiskanen was with us at the fair. She stood on a little podium the whole time and drew people’s attention. Thank you, Annaliina!

We got a lot of positive feedback not only from the clothes but also from our enthusiasm, ambition and right attitude. All in all, the fair was very useful and we got experience on how to sell our idea.
