Behind the scenes

Last Tuesday we had a photoshoot with a talented young photographer, Mikko Puttonen. In these shoots we combined our second hand clothes and clothes from Premiere -collection. We had two very amazing locations to take these photos so we were all quite excited when this day finally arrived. 

Our model, Noora arrived from Helsinki early in the morning. After hair and make up was done and we had gathered all the necessary equipment for the shoot, we headed towards our first location. Sarianna Sormunen was the person behind the make up and hair of our model. 

We started from Nordkalk quarry at Parainen which was an amazing and unique location to shoot. Although it was quite windy and cold at the top, we got amazing photos and had a good time. After that we moved to one amazing looking roof so we didn't get away from the wind. The weather was perfect for the mood that we wanted to be in the pictures. For once you could actually be thankful for the dark and cloudy sky, haha.

Stockholm

Last week Johanna and I spent a couple days in Stockholm. The point of the trip was to attend a seminar about branding, look for retailers in Stockholm, visit Transit Kulturinkubator, do some benchmarking and enjoy the beautiful city. And that was what we did. And also some shopping, oops. 

All in all, the trip was very successful and we got a lot of positive feedback from our SS14 clothes that we wore during the trip. Can't wait to open our online store!! JULJA Second Hand

As you may have already seen or heard, we have a little surprise for you guys. Those of you who love making catches in flea markets but also like to shop online, hear us out!

We are also going to sell second hand clothes carefully handpicked by our designer. The first round will be published by the end of September in our online store. We'll definitely show you some teasers before that so you can prepare yourself and of course your wallet for the shopping round. 

Yesterday we had a long day of photoshooting almost all of the JULJA Second Hand clothes. We can't wait to see the final results of yesterday! Thanks belongs to our lovely supermodel Annaliina and our talented photographer Mette.

Inspiration

Today we went to look for some inspiration whilst running from one place to another. This has been one of those days when you have a to-do list and at the end of the day you notice that you can't cross over a single task you had assigned yourself. However, we accomplished large number of other tasks today so we can be proud. And the working still continues..

We decided to show you a few photos from our inspiration trip to a location we decided to have our next SS14 collection photoshoot at. Amazing, isn't it?
