Today has been a long but very rewarding day for us. Our morning started with a short meeting at the bank, whereafter we've been running like maniacs from one place to another. The JULJA Summer Shirt project has been quit a hustle and it hasn't been the easiest, but once again it has taught us a lot.

However, despite all the small up and downhills that we've had, we're happy to tell you that the first set of JULJA Summer Shirts is ready!! These shirts are also available for men! But where can you buy these super awesome summer shirts? We'll give you more specific information on that in a minute so just wait for it!

Here are a few pics from today.

Sunny Tuesday

We had a fascinating meeting with Pirjo Suhonen from Ivana Helsinki today. She was very helpful, inspiring and supportive and gave us lots of great tips for the future.

We also got to see their collections for S/S2013 and A/W2013. Go check them out here!

Go out and enjoy the sun as we did before the meeting! Now we're in a train waiting to get back to sunny Turku.

JULJA Women: Veera Vänttinen

Eighteen year old high school student Veera Vänttinen also parcticipated in our JULJA Women Campaign photoshoot, that took place at Kontti a month back.

Veera is a bodybalance trainee who loves making food, writing and listening to Pop-Jazz music. She enjoys reading Vogue and says she loves clothes. Although Veera says she isn't necessarily a fashion trend follower, she wears clothes she likes and looks good on regardless of what is in fashion at the moment. Veera prefers to buy her clothes from thrift shops. “There I find the kind of clothes that when wearing them, I can be certain that I won’t come across someone else wearing the exact same”, she explains.

JULJA came to her knowledge through our marketing manager Inka. Veera dreams of travelling the world, starting a band, standing for the sexual minority and going Bunjee jumping.
